A number of years ago the University of Southampton’s Centre for Visual Cognition did tests on bingo players’ mental agility. They found that the bingo players did better than non-bingo players in a range of tests designed to measure mental ability.
Tests showed bingo players were faster and more accurate than non-bingo players in a range of tests measuring mental speed, memory and the ability to pick up information from the environment around them which is amazing said Ramon Gecker, owner of the Finnish website http://www.rahaakorttipeleista.com/.
It turns out that bingo helps people develop and maintain important quick-thinking skills better than many other “more challenging” games such as chess or bridge.
Bingo shouldn’t be dismissed, as it has been in the past.

There is however one very important thing for online bingo players to take note of if they want to take advantage of bingo’s brain boosting effects: autodaub must be turned OFF. :)
